Boston To Woods Hole: I-93 South to Route 128 to Route 24 South. Take Exit
for Route 495/25 East-Cape Cod. Cross the Bourne Bridge and follow
Route 28 to Falmouth and Woods Hole. Distance from Boston – ~75 miles.

New York City To Woods Hole: I-95 to Providence, RI. I-195 East to
Wareham, MA/Cape Cod. Take Exit 22A/Cape Cod and the Islands to Route
495/25 East. Cross the Bourne Bridge and follow Route 28 to Falmouth
and Woods Hole. Distance from New York City - ~250 miles.
•If
you are parking, watch for signs for ferry parking lot information along
Rte. 28 (there are many lots, and close as they fill!). Palmer Avenue Lot
in Falmouth comes up quickly on right. Take shuttle bus to ferry dock.
Take Steamship Authority ferry from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven or Oak
Bluffs.
