 Writer's Studio (rented with Main House)

Cottage (rented with Main House)

  
A studio cottage is available with the main house
for a small additional charge.  This building is
more"rustic" and currently lacks both an indoor
toilet and shower.  This Winter, we hope to install
a composting toilet and outdoor shower.  If so, 
the price will be the same as the Writer's Studio.
 

Activity Barn (included with Main House)

  
A barn on the property is included with the rental
of the property.  The barn is great for kids, 
especially on rainy days.  The barn has a ping-
pong table, TV with cable and DVD, and basic
furniture including sofas and chairs (see photos
on Tour Page).  It is one large room and
measures approximately 1,000 square feet.
 

Mooring on Lake Tashmoo

  
We have a mooring on beautiful Lake Tashmoo,
a salt water inlet on the north shore of the island.
The town landing on Lake Tashmoo has dinghies  
which are available to the public in order to
paddle out to the mooring.  LakeTashmoo is a
10-minute drive from the house.  Feel free to
inquire about availability at the time of booking
your vacation.  There is no additional charge for
the use of the mooring.

During the summer, we prefer weekly rentals.   We will consider other lengths of stay at other times of the year.

These charges may be adjusted downward if the renter washes linens, makes beds, etc.  They can also be adjusted upward if the house requires more extensive cleaning.

Payment Options:  Personal Check or Credit Cards through Paypal.

  • Weekly rental period begins and ends on Sunday.

  • 50% of the rental amount is required as a deposit to hold the reservation. 

    •  
  • Deposit is refundable, minus $500 processing fee, until two months prior to rental date.  Within two months of rental date, reimbursement for cancellation is possible only if we are able to rent the relevant week(s).

  • The balance is due two months prior to rental date.

    •  
  • $750 cleaning and security deposit due with balance. Please send as a separate check. This is standard on all Vineyard rentals. Cost of cleaning after your stay will be deducted from the deposit and the remainder returned to you by check.
